DARREN SAKOWSKY Owner/Operator Darren began his career in the machining industry in Lloydminster, Alberta in the mid 90’s. After completing his Red Seal Journeyman certificate in 2001, Darren’s field work took him throughout western Canada. Excelling in all aspects of his jobs, Darren knew he could be succeful on his own. So, in 2007, Darren founded DARCAT Machine Works. He now makes his home with his wife Cathy and his two children in Sherwood Park, where he enjoys the day to day operations of owning and running his own business.

CATHY SAKOWSKY Office Manager After completion of her bachelor’s degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2002, Cathy moved to Sherwood Park to pursue a career in the health field. In 2007, Cathy was ready for additional challenges and took on the role of Office Manager at DARCAT Machine Works. She is happily busy, enjoying her work and time with her young family.
